We are now looking for a resourceful and hands-on Junior Key Account Manager to handle one of our key accounts in the United States. We are looking for a person with 2 years of experience within account management, business development and relationship building. This is a key role with over 200 colleagues globally, striving for the continuous fast-growing expansion of Maria Nila on the global arena of hair care and beauty. During the past year, Maria Nila has expanded to over 10 new global markets and has had a steep growth curve in the US. With our own R&D and factory as a foundation, we launched another brand within the hair care world – LeaLuo. The opportunities for both Maria Nila, and LeaLuo are endless, and we are looking for a Junior Key Account Manager to join us on this journey.
The role we are offering is focused on one of our key accounts in the United States where the person will be responsible for managing and developing the partnership. As our Junior Key Account Manager, you will work in a team managing, developing, and identifying new business opportunities within the given account. You will continuously strive to optimize the performance of Maria Nila´s portfolio.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Junior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Taking full ownership and drive performance for your account
• Develop and strengthen relationship with existing partner and stakeholders
• Visit the account and their sales channels across the United States
• Build sales- and marketing plans to build the brand and optimize performance
• Create and implement commercial initiatives to increase sales and ensure buy-in
• Negotiate new and existing agreements
• Pitch, secure and drive new product launches for the account
• Working towards set sales budgets and performance KPIs

THE POSITION
This is a full-time position, based at the Maria Nila office in New York. You will be a part of the Key Account Team and spend time travelling to fairs, the accounts HQ, and their different sales channels. We estimate 2-4 travel days a month. The position reports to Head of Sales North America.
QUALITIFICATIONS
• Master or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Management or similar
• Minimum 2 years work experience within relevant field
• Proven success within sales and negotiation
• Strong commercial acumen
• Result oriented and structured
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical skills and logical thinking
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Also meriting with... (but not a requirement)
• Business proficiency in 2nd language
• Previous experience from the professional beauty/haircare industry
