JOB SCOPE
This role will champion the growth of brand recognition and loyalty within a defined territory (Dallas and/or Austin/San Antonio), implementing effective business strategies to consistently surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. The responsible person will cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, salons, and stylists, to drive sales growth and brand loyalty. This will ensure optimal sell-through for territory distributors by providing comprehensive support and education.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Territory Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Drive brand awareness and sales by implementing company-mandated promotions and conducting in-person and virtual visits with stores and salons.
- Ensure adherence to merchandising standards and optimize store and salon layouts to enhance visibility and shopping experience.
- Manage existing top salon customers, develop market expansion strategies to convert new accounts through collaboration with distributor sales consultant teams.
- Foster strong relationships with territory sales teams to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Analyze sales data, identify growth opportunities, and champion company support programs to drive brand growth.
- Lead beauty events to promote sales and education and utilize social media to share relevant content.
THE POSITION
This is a full-time, fully remote field-based position in either greater Dallas or greater Austin, TX area. The position reports to Head of Sales North America.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school degree required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Two (2) years demonstrated outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with emphasis on consultative selling.
- Demonstrated consultative and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written as well as presentation skills.
- Must be highly organized, flexible, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Possesses a valid state driver’s license and car.
- Excellent computer skills - Windows-based (MS Office) systems and applications.
- Avid user of social media platforms
This position requires intermittent supervision as the incumbent will be working independently most of the time in the field. This position requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. You will be a part of the Distributor sales team and spend 2-3 days a quarter traveling to fairs or out of state events.
